Hi-Line was founded in 1960 to provide quality tools, equipment, and expert advice to those in the electrical distribution & transmission, substation, and communications fields. Hi-Line is focused on maintaining a large inventory of transmission and distribution equipment and tools and continuing a tradition of providing one of the most comprehensive and easy to read T&D product catalogs in the industry.

Hi-line is determined to serve the men, women, utilities, municipalities, contractors, and others who make their living keeping the lights on and the power running.

Hi-Line brings many services to the industry including great customer service, a huge inventory of tools and equipment, experienced testers and repair technicians, expert fiberglass refinishing workshop, a truck inventory and replenishing program, and a temperature controlled lab for cleaning, testing, storing and certifying rubber goods. Many employees boast over 25 years in the business and have become recognized experts on the complex technicalities and issues that surround the electrical transmission and distribution fields.

In 2011, Hi-Line announced the acquisition of Stockwell Testing Laboratory in Millbury, Massachusetts. Stockwell’s 60 years of experience in the rubber goods testing industry combines with Hi-Line’s 52 years as a full service Transmission & Distribution supply house and service center. In addition to the testing of rubber goods and hot line tools, Hi-Line’s newly remodeled and expanded facility is strategically located in the Northeast and now offers new products and services including a large selection of new rubber goods.

In 2014, Hi-Line became a division of WESCO Distribution, Inc. WESCO is a leading provider of electrical, industrial, and communications MRO and OEM products, construction materials, and advanced supply chain management and logistics services.
